The course of manual electric arc welding of structural and stainless steels consists of theoretical and practical work. During the theoretical part, the participants acquire basic and specific knowledge for performing the work of a welder and it lasts two days. During the practical work, the participants acquire practical skills for manual electric arc welding. The duration of practical work depends on the individual candidate or his previous knowledge and experience. At the end of the course, you have the opportunity to complete the certification process and obtain an international welder's certificate.
Content of theoretical training: basics of manual electric arc welding, advantages and disadvantages of this method of welding, gases and their properties, equipment for manual electric arc welding, influence of welding parameters on the welding process, welding techniques, protection and safety, the most common designations according to ISO and EN for welders, the most common defects in welding and their causes, basic concepts and types of welding joints and their marking.
During the practical training, the instructors pay attention to each participant individually, and the exercises are adapted to their level of experience, as well as to the client's needs. The following positions are welded: angled horizontal, angled vertical, face-to-face horizontal, face-to-face vertical.
