Based on the mandate of the European Welding Federation (EWF), the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the Slovenian Society of Welding Technology (SDVT), the Institute of Welding implements training programs and qualifications for welding coordinators.

About our Courses

The specialization takes place in accordance with the guidelines and authority of the European Welding Federation (EWF) and the International Institute of Welding (IIW). Upon successful completion of the obligations, candidates receive European or international diplomas issued by the Slovenian Association of Welding Techniques (SDVT) on behalf of the two aforementioned institutions. The diplomas are in English, valid worldwide and the same as those issued in other countries of the world.

Candidates

The specialization is intended for all those who encounter welding in their work in any way, but at the same time want to deepen their knowledge in the field of welding. In companies, it is indispensable for all those involved in welding work, and at the same time, the company guarantees the quality of its work in accordance with the EN ISO 9000 series of standards and the EN ISO 14731 and EN ISO 3834 standards. The specialization is also an opportunity to properly train its welding staff. staff all those companies that want to obtain a certificate on the quality assurance of welding works in accordance with EN ISO 3834 and for areas such as the production of pressure equipment, supporting structures and others.

When the candidate successfully completes all the prescribed obligations, he receives an international diploma and the title of International Welding Engineer (IWE), International Welding Technologist (IWT) or International Welding Specialist (IWS).

With the IWIP qualification, you will be able to connect the planning and execution of welding works with the methods of testing and investigating welded joints, which is undoubtedly related to reducing costs, among other things.
