As of 19 July 2016, the previous Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC is hereby repealed. In the national legislation, the Regulation on pressure equipment has been adopted (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 66/16, 59/18 and 10/21).
The manufacturer of pressure equipment must analyze the hazards and risks in the production of pressure equipment. The pressure equipment must be designed, manufactured and checked, and if necessary also equipped and installed in such a way that its safety is guaranteed when it is put into use in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions or under reasonably foreseeable circumstances.
With some exceptions, the manufacturer must mark each unit of pressure equipment or assembly with the CE mark and attach an EU declaration of conformity before it is placed on the market. In this way, the manufacturer demonstrates compliance with the essential safety requirements from Annex I of Directive 2014/68/EU. In the event that the pressure equipment is categorized higher than Class I, the notified body is included in the conformity assessment of the pressure equipment.
The conformity assessment procedures and our authorizations are described in the certification scheme, accessible below.
