The Institute of Welding has been certifying welders for over 60 years as the industry's leading Certification Body (CO). Welders with our certificates have found jobs all over the world. CO is accredited by Slovenian Accreditation in the same way as laboratories for examination of exam samples.

We perform the certification of welders according to the following standards:

 

• EN ISO 9606
• EN ISO 14732
• EN ISO 13585
• EN  14730-2
• EN  13067

Certification can be done in the welding facilities of the Welding Institute in Ljubljana or Maribor, where you can weld with your own welding devices or with a wide range of installed modern devices. You can also order certification in the field or in your company, where you will weld under the supervision of our professionally trained examiner.

In addition to the practical verification of the welder's competence, the certification also provides for a theoretical knowledge verification in the form of a written exam. This is primarily a requirement for regulated industrial areas and is also a requirement of clients in most EU countries.

Exam samples are examined in our own accredited laboratories.
