Standard EN 15085: Railway equipment - welding of railway vehicles and elements

is a European standard, valid since 2008, in all EC countries. The standard defines specific skills in the field of welding railway vehicles and assemblies. This means that clients for welding work require welding contractors to comply with the specifications of the standard. The contractor proves this by obtaining a certificate for his production from a notified body.



The Institute of Welding offers:

• preparing your company for the certification of its production according to the EN 15085-2 standard, po standardu EN 15085-2,
• welding coordinators (with specific knowledge of the standard),
• welding control and production of project documentation,
• consulting in the technical-welding field in the preparation and review of contracts, orders and tender documentation.
