CIWE – Welding engineers and coordinators
The certification system is implemented above the requirements of the guidelines of the European Welding Federation (EWF) and the International Institute of Welding (IIW). It will be conducted online in the form of a 10-hour course on important innovations in the welding industry. It ends with a successfully completed online exam. Certificates are in English, valid worldwide.
Entry Requirements
The candidate must possess a relevant IIW/EWF diploma showing the title of IWE, IWT, IWS and send it together with a CV describing the relevant work performed in the last 3 years. The candidate must complete 10 hours of welding innovation e-learning on the following topics: contract review, design review, materials, production planning, subcontractor supervision, production equipment, welding, inspection (NDT, destructive tests), welding acceptance, documentation, knowledge of current regulations and standards. The duration of the course is determined by the candidate himself.
Procedure
After processing the material in the online course, the candidate takes a written exam consisting of 30 A,B,C,D questions covering innovations in the field of welding. The duration of the exam is 40 minutes. Negative answers do not reduce the number of points. A positive success rate is >70%.
After completing the procedure, he receives a certificate that is valid for 3 years.

The price of the certification is EUR 250.00 (VAT not included). Registration is possible at any time.
