Twice a year we organize a course for welding plastics and certification in accordance with the SIST EN 13067 standard. The course lasts two days. The first day includes the theoretical part in the form of lectures, and the second day the practical part in the form of a workshop. Each participant also tests himself in an individual method of welding plastics. The course program is as follows: basics about plastics (production, properties, weldability, recycling...), possible methods of welding thermoplastics, quality assurance in welding plastics, welding pipes with a hot tool, welding pipes with a clamp with a built-in electric heater, extrusion welding , manual welding with a hot tool, automatic welding of PE foils with a hot tool, ultrasonic welding and welding with hot air. After completing the course, candidates undergo certification.
